I am a computer professional with almost ten years experience and, over the past five years have concentrated on networks, security, digital forensics and data recovery. Over the last 2 years, I have been in a long term contract in Computer forensics and data recovery, analysis and presentation for a variety of clients including various police forces, businesses and individuals who either need to recover lost data or to produce evidence for either civil or criminal cases. During this period I have worked on over 50 cases, including paedophilia, fraud, false accounting, extortion, auction fraud, conspiracy, and various civil matters. These have resulted in a number of custodial sentences. Whilst at Forensic computing limited, I played a critical role in achieving the BS 7799 (Code of Practice for Information Security Management) and ISO 9000 certifications for the firm.
I have over 5 years experience in General Computer Technical work and am well versed in Network systems (Windows 2000/3, Linux, Open BSD, router systems and firewalls), fitting and up keeping TCP/IP networks, building and repairing Client Machines and problem solving. I am self motivated and able to manage my time and current tasks effectively and efficiently. I enjoy challenging tasks and am not one to give up easily. I can work within a team but I happy to work on my own if necessary.
